Welcome: Charlottesville Underground Fetish Fellowship
Welcome! You have reached the Web site for CUFF, the Charlottesville Underground Fetish Fellowship. CUFF is a pansexual BDSM/fetish social and support organization located in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. First started in 1993, CUFF is an active group, maintaining a membership of more than 50 het, gay, lesbian, bi, poly, and transgendered adults since 2000. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and discreet environment where one can meet others of like mind.
CUFF provides educational information on a variety of topics along with friendly support and a social network of men, women, not-sures, and in-betweens who share our interests in the context of consensual relationships. We are an organization which provides a forum for the many different expressions of power in love and play. Whether you are newly discovering your kinky side or have been actively involved in the leather scene for many years, if you are interested in bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, sadomasochism, spanking, cross-dressing, fetishism, pony play, needleplay, or other forms of alternative sexual activity, then consider attending one of our many open-to-the-public events. You will find that CUFF is a great place to learn and a great place to have fun.
Events
There are two types of regularly occuring events open to newcomers and members alike: munches and monthly meetings. A "munch" is simply a social gathering at a local restaurant. Currently we are holding two munches each month. One is the first Sunday of each month at Rapture on Charlottesville's downtown mall; the time and place for the second varies.
The monthly meetings are held (with rare exception) at Club 216, Charlottesville's late-night gay dance club, on the second Sunday of each month. Each monthly meeting consists of socializing, a short business segment, and most often an educational presentation/demonstration given by one of our own members or by an invited expext from another BDSM group. The presentations can cover any BDSM/fetish related topic, whether it's flogging, wax-play, or maintaining a master/slave relationship. Sometimes, in lieu of a presentation, we will watch a movie, play a social game, hold a toy swap, share dinner, or engage in a discussion. In short, there's something for everyone.
If you are curious as to what we are all about, feel free to visit us. You won't be put on the spot to introduce yourself, although you might be approached by members who will introduce themselves. Please keep in mind that above all else, we respect your right to privacy. We realize that you might be nervous at your first meeting or munch. We are there if you want to talk with us. Typically there are about 30 people at a meeting and about half a dozen people at each munch. One of the obvious benefits of getting to know us is learning that you are not alone with your fantasies or "unusual" practices. You won't be judged and you will be accepted.
So, browse the web site, contact us if you have any questions, and we hope to see you soon!
